"The website has three primary functions," explains Research Scholar Patrick Narbel from The Department of Finance and Management Science.

"We wish to provide on-going commentary on resource, energy and climate issues via the blog. In addition we will act as a portal that centralizes all relevant academic output from researchers based at, or affiliated with, NHH. And finally we offer educational resources via our RECipedia section, which summarizes key concepts in the fields of environmental and resource economics," Narbel adds.

The persons involved so far are Professors Gunnar S. Eskeland, Leif K. Sandal and Stein Wallace, and Narbel himself from The Department of Finance and Management Science, and Professor Rögnvaldur Hannesson and Research Scholars Tunç Durmaz and Grant R. McDermott from The Department of Economics.

"On Thursday, we aim at introducing our website to all researchers active in the field of resources, energy and climate at NHH," says Narbel.

The official opening of the REConomics Hub takes place in Aud. Karl Borch from 12:15 to 12:45, Thursday 4 October.
