Election of safety representatives
NHH's Working Environment Committee has started a process to elect new safety representatives.
13.09.2013 - Ed.
At its meeting September 10, the Working Environment Committee adopted the division of NHH into 13 safety zones. These zones reflect the organisational structure of the school (departments nd administrative offices).
According to the HSE regulations, safety representatives must be elected for the next two year period.
Our aim is to have safety representatives for all safety zones by the end of this month.
The role of the safety representative is to safeguard employee interests in matters related to the physical, psychosocial and organisational working environment.
Safety representatives are elected by the trade unions among highly regarded employees, independently of their trade union status, with experience and good knowledge of NHH's activities.
Those who are elected will be provided with the necessary training to fulfill their role.
All employees can suggest candidates for their safety zone. Suggestions can be sent to [email protected] by Thursday September 19.
