The CEMS programme, offered by NHH along with 28 leading business schools, is fifth on the Financial Times' ranking of the best pre-experience business masters programmes in the world.

This is two places up from last year's ranking. The FT ranking emphasises career opportunities and the extent of the programmes' international focus and diversity.

The CEMS programme is especially targeted at students who want an international career. Among other things, the students must complete an internship in a foreign company, and they spend one semester at one of the other CEMS schools.

"I am very pleased that CEMS is back among the top five. The competition is increasingly stiff, and it is great that NHH students can benefit from this unique programme. The students who choose this programme are especially well equipped to pursue an international career", says Deputy Rector Sunniva Whittaker, who is in charge of NHH's internationalisation strategy.

The CEMS programme has generally been highly ranked, and the Deputy Rector says that this is a mark of quality for NHH.

"NHH has high international ambitions, and the CEMS programme is an important part of our overall strategy. We want to move our programmes of study in an international direction. Therefore, we will now be expanding the number of master's profiles in English from three to six starting in 2015", says Whittaker.

The master's degree in economics and business administration at NHH is number 60 on this year's ranking. This is one place up from last year.

The University of St Gallen in Switzerland tops the list for the third year running.
